    We've moved away from the property in mid August. During that time a new management company had just taken over the property, but we were told that Prime management company was who we would continue to deal with for the duration of our stay there. If we had any questions and needed to set up a time for our final walk through, to return keys, and receive things like our deposit, we were told to still contact Prime management company. We've just received our deposit yesterday when we should've received it within 3 weeks of moving out. They are extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They do not answer phone calls or voice messages, which only left us more frustrated. We went through a lot just to receive our deposit smh.Save yourself the trouble and rent from a better management company. Where we're currently living has proven to be a major upgrade, and not only aesthetically and comfort wise, but also ran by better management.

    Review for Courtyards at Southcoast which is listed under Prime.Look elsewhere. Current tenant. Never missed a rent payment in 5 years. Staff and management are negligent and response to any question you'll most likely receive is "I don't know"Below outlines the most recent episode in the saga with plumbing issues. After several weeks of maintenance visits the issue persists. When we advised the office we were contacting Health Department they asked us to please not to and to allow them to fix the issues. We've allowed weeks to pass for a resolution...none yet. I've contacted the Health Department regarding the ongoing issues with the plumbing in the first bathroom in unit. Maintenance requests show that for the past several weeks we have reported plumbing issues with toilet in bathroom. This began the same week there was a team out here working on the plumbing. The Health Department suggests sending a notification in writing so there is a trace of contact along with the work order receipts for each time we have requested this online or by calling the ER number. When maintenance comes out they unclog the toilet but the issue is reoccurring and is a Health code violation. I am sending this message along with an actual written notice that I'll deliver to the office. We have been tenants for over 5 years not missing a rent payment. The level of neglect for this matter is evident. The Health Department also suggests along with sending this notification that I ask for any communication from Courtyards at Southcoast regarding this issue be in writing. This morning when contacting the leasing office my roommate states she was asked to NOT contact the heath department but rather allow courtyards to handle the situation as if this were the first instance of this. This is a repeated situation.Reason for complaint:For the past several weeks my toilet has either reached the rim of the bowl or has overflowed spilling contaminated water onto my bathroom floors. We do not use wipes or excessive amounts of paper. When maintenance comes out they unclog toilet but as soon as the next flush, water again remains in the bowl laying stagnant. This a Health and safety concern that has been negligected by Courtyards of Southcoast management.

    PARK LA BREA APARTMENTS ONLY Los Angels CAGREAT AT FIRST, THEN DOWNHILL. Please see attached pics for reference.March 25/2022 Moved in 05/15/2019.Everything great during first few months, then downhill from there."Vegas" windows are a big selling point for most Garden Apartments. As of 02/25/2022 the windows have not been installed correctly and told there's nothing that can be done. Kitchen cabinets have been repainted with dirt, dust and hair everywhere, again... nothing can be done. Cracked paint and damaged walls. Considering putting cabinet doors in a wagon and drop off in leasing office lobby.  Graffiti is all over the property, cock roaches scurry nightly around grilled food on the ground after neighbor's parties inside the "dinosaur feature" inside Alandele Circle Park. (one block down my street on S Orange Grove Ave. packages are constantly being stolen from Garden porches and Tower lobbies. Security is more for "show" because gates, aren't really enforced. Laundry rooms are very rarely cleaned and maintained. Neighbors complaining of cock roaches. Endless phone calls and left messages. This is the worst experience of property management I have experienced in over 30 years.So much more to list, but hope this is enough information for new renters to make their own educated decision to sign that lease or not.
