I worked for Devine Intermodal for about a year, from 08/2016 to 09/2017. On my one training day (ONE DAY OF TRAINING), my trainer told me that I would need to falsify my paper logs to make any money. I should've taken that as the warning it was. The incident that made me quit was when I was picking up from Coca Cola in American Canyon. It was a live load, which always takes time. I did the math and realized that I would be back in Reno at 9 am the next morning. My appointment was at 7. I called the dispatcher, Russ, and he told me to get there at 7. I informed him that I didn't have the hours to make that work. He told me to do it anyway. I said that he had to get the load recovered if he wanted it there at 7. He transferred me to the head of truckload division. She told me to falsify my logs. I refused. She transferred me to my safety manager. HE TOLD ME TO FALSIFY. I refused again. After that, it was a struggle to find runs for me. Local loads in Reno only, and Devine doesn't pay for empty container moves locally. The last check I received there, for 140 hours of work (2 weeks), was $1100 take home. Stay away from this company, it doesn't care about you or your license. Protect the tools of your trade, guys. This is a bottom tier garbage outfit. Edit:. They deleted the first review I left, this is the 2nd.
