Hotel Ziggy Los Angeles

Not the most friendly staff or at least only with certain demography.

If you are staying in this hotel, you have to very be careful with mini bar. It seems like staff are stealing some drinks from your mini bar and they are charging to your credit card after you check out. Take a photo and prove it. I sent email and they don't respond. This is terrible experience I ever had!!!

Location of hotel was great for us and the staff were friendly. Reason for lower rating was the lack of soundproofing. Unfortunately, we were given the room directly under the dj booth/party room so we had no choice but to stay up until 2am with the music despite earplugs because you can feel the bass. I didn't realize when I was booking that this would be the case. (I knew about the music but I don't think the reviews at the time really conceptualized how loud it would be). Personally, I think they should should ask customers if they will be joining the party in the evening before placing them in this room. The concept of having live music is good, and we enjoyed it for a bit, but it would have definitely been nice to be able to go back to a quieter room when we decided to leave early. Would be a good stay for the right people. Edit: you can also hear people in the hallways returning to their rooms late at night due to lack of soundproofing.
