I had my second Uberliss keratin treatment with Michael this week and couldnt be happier! Im mixed with very curly hair and was looking for a non-toxic keratin treatment that would still retain my curl pattern. I knew I was in good hands as soon as I arrived at the salon - Michael is incredibly knowledgeable about the products he uses and was able to answer all my questions. The treatment itself was gentle (especially compared to the Brazilian Blowout), and left my hair visibly stronger, shinier, and curls much more manageable. The effects of the treatment are additive, so Im looking forward to how my hair improves after more treatments!

Michael always does a great job on my hair and is very professional. He shows me exactly how he is going to cut my hair and makes sure I like how it looks (not too short/too long, etc.) He is always able to squeeze me into his schedule even on short notice. Also, the salon is very relaxing and he offers coffee! Service: Haircut

I found Michael quite by accident on NEXTDOOR. I had a good feeling about him the moment we spoke by phone. He was sincere and very present. I inquired about a Brazilian Blowout with formaldehyde which I've had at another salon a few times over the years, and got a very straight result. He explained he does a keratin treatment instead without all those unhealthy chemicals, so I went for that. It's refreshing that he considers the health of his clients, not subjecting them to carcinogenic substances The result was perfectly straight, because Michael is very focused, and really knows his stuff.......very professional. It was nice that he was able to book me early in the morning with no distractions from other clients waiting to be seen, so I didn't feel rushed. He's gained my trust enough so I will try him to do my hair color professionally, since I've colored it myself for years and for a precise haircut which is long overdue. Michael is West Hollywoods best kept secret. His in-depth and rare knowledge and level of research for hair and scalp health, allergies and chemistry is parallel to none. I have been struggling with a severe allergy to hair color with PPD and peroxide for over 15 years. Michael took the time to consult with me and do multiple patch test after carefully listening and evaluating my hairstory through an unhurried conversation. I shared the seriousness of my allergy and how I have had cortisone shots in urgent care to calm down the horrific week long blisters. It was imperative that the product not touch my scalp and he understood. He carefully customized a blend for me that would not only cover the gray but weaved it in carefully with foil packets so as to not touch my scalp. The end result was a vibrant and rich chestnut brown with golden sparkles peeping throughout. While the roots were not covered, I am so very pleased with the results. I am thrilled to report that my hair is healthy, the color looks awesome and that I have no reaction at all. And he was even able to handle my coils and kinks perfectly. This level of care, attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism cant be beat. Anyone who has an allergy to hair color should consider having a visit with Michael.
