This man / service is a joke. Full of broken promises and very poor communication etiquette. Never prepared and you'll expect one thing but get another.

He did the work, sort of, that was agreed to.  But....he removed a lot of things such as a motion detector sprinkler which I really need in my yard to scare away the deer that eat ALL my flowers.  He took that fixture away without consulting me and now I have no way of keeping the deer out of my flowers.  Every night is feeding night for them.  He also disconnected a large amount of my drip irrigation--over half--so that lower half of my garden is mostly dead.  And for this privilege I was billed over $1800.  He didn't do such a great job.  I will use someone else in the future do not recommend.

When I did not hear from Greg a week after our meeting where we had agreed on his starting work for us, I called to see when he would actually start.  He returned my call with, "I feel more comfortable if I increased my fees... by 50%... as I have more business now!"I am not a business owner but I know that's NOT how you run a business--increasing your agreed upon price AFTER we shook on it.  The fact that he completely blew off our first meeting should have been a sign, but I guess it's better to learn of his unprofessionalism now before we begin, rather than midway through the contract.

I used this company and found that phone calls were not returned.  Promises to show up and fix the drip system were not done and overall would never recommend this company.

We've just finished our second project with Modern Irrigation & Landscaping.  The first was last September (2014) when Greg removed about 1650 sq. ft. of sod and replaced it with drought resistant plants and a drip system.  That was a beautiful job, correctly priced and done by an excellent crew.  The a second project was done with the same beautiful results--nicely done by pleasant, hard-working people who take pride in their work.  Greg's easy to work with, transparent in his pricing and meets his commitments.  We've dealt with other landscapers over the last 30 years but Greg is the Gold Standard.  I recommend him without reservation.
