awful ! was waiting for a quote. but took forever and never heard back again. very unprofessional and never willing to communicate ..

I've been waiting for a year to write this review, so i could be fair enough to evaluate his project. I'm very disappointed! James gave me a price which includes the labor, material and his designer fee. I got quotes from other contractors as well - he was not the cheapest one - the reason I finally chose him was because he promised me that he would use good materials. BS! the materials look so cheap and everything was done so unprofessionally! He built a wall by my bathtub and there was already a long crack even before the project was done! The reason he gave me for this wall was to build some shelves to store my baby's stuff (he did give some ugly glass shelves) - but we found out the real reason was that he just wanted to save money by giving us a shorter sliding shower door - torture to give bath to my baby everyday in this small area! plus the glass shelves are so unsafe for a toddler! After he took my final payment, he stopped answering my phone call - i had to catch him by using some other phone line so that I could have him fix some problems of his project. He is proud of himself as a designer. I had him remodeled 3 bathroom, everyone looks the same! same cabinets (same as the kitchen), same tiles, same toilets, sinks... like a cookie cutter! Definitely don't go 3J Design, not worth it at all.
