        My 6 year old son had two cavities that needed to be treated. I was very nervous since he has never experienced a cavity treatment before. The dentist and assistant were amazing with him. They explained everything they were going to do in a way that he could easily understand. They were gentle and soothed him calmly when he was moving or scared. They were so quick and the whole process from the X-ray to finishing the cavity treatments took less than one hour. I am so grateful that he had such a pleasant experience. I also love that the staff explained and confirmed all the fees before treatment, and I also love that they do appointment confirmations and reminders via text. We will definitely be returning here for all future dental work needed.

        Each person's personal experience is unique for any service being provided. TRUST is a most important element. Don't be shy about asking questions about charges or confirming the necessity of the work recommended (longevity of same-day 3-D crowns is now questionable to me). If a second opinion cost works for your budget, that's always a good option too. In 2022, I returned to our trusted family dentist of many years ago for a full-mouth Xray and evaluation of all new work being recommended, including past work done at Walnut Family Dental (WFD) since retiring in 2009. Imagine that, seeing the same trusted dentist! (By the way, be alert to most dentists being professionally loyal to one another's work). The distance traveled for the second opinion was not convenient, but the new dental knowledge and peace of mind is more important to me. Thank you to Walnut Family Dental staff that did serve me well, even though at a huge personal expense, in spite of good dental insurance. Services come and go in life. Kinda' like the different dentists I was always seeing at WFD. Hopefully all YELP readers find dental services that works best for them. Take good care of your teeth--all ages!
