As a small business and home owner I dread tax season every year.I do my best to stay on top of collecting everything I think I'll need.Luckily a few years ago by chance I met Mike Patten when his officewas in Oakland.Here it is February 23, 2018 and my taxes are done ! Filed electronically and my refund is on its way.I was worried at first when Mike moved his office to Walnut Creek, butit doesn't matter working with Mike ! I got the tax organizer folder he sends out every year, took me lessthan an hour to fill out as it is very easy to follow .Mailed it back, he spent a few days crunching numbers and sent me a rough draft,which I approved and now I'm just waiting for my return to be deposited into my checking account.This review was long overdue, but working with Mike this season wasso painless and easy I just had to sit down and give him the proper review deserves.

I have always done my own taxes until I became involved in owning my own companies and things became too complicated. I was introduced to Mike in 2009 and have had a great experience working with him. For those of us that aren't savy in the tax world, he is very good at explaining things to help me understand. He has worked with me for two years now and I am very happy with everything. I highly recommend him!

Mike is extremely knowledgeable about tax issues and extremely thorough about the details that matter.
