We are delighted that Cary Amo was our realtor for the timely sale of a home we owned in Fremont. In our initial conversations with Cary, he quickly understood our goals and needs and was able to suggest an appropriate way to proceed. The house had a long-time renter, and he worked with her so that she amicably moved out on schedule. Knowledgeable about the region and the market, he was able to envision which improvements would most appeal to potential buyers in Fremont for the greatest return on our investment. He also provided all necessary information on comparable sales and the shifts in the market over time. Once we had a plan, which he outlined with detailed spreadsheets of costs and timelines, he managed the entire schedule and process of inspections and upgrades. His long experience in the region meant that he had access to inspectors, carpenters, landscapers, painters, handypersons, pest controllers, etc. in order to get the work done quickly and professionally. In the end, the house turned out to be clean, attractive and appealing to many buyers. He was also very helpful in advising us through all the legal paperwork that needed to be done and even referred us to a professional for a concern we had outside the purview of a realtor. Cary devoted phenomenal energy to our sale, remaining on top of all of a tremendous number of details: financial, legal, repairs and improvements, market shifts, inspections, and human interaction issues. He always responded to our phone calls quickly and offered Zoom sessions when we needed to look at documents or spreadsheets. When the house was ready to go on the market, in just a few weeks after he became our agent, he predicted an enthusiastic response from buyers. His pricing advice turned out to be correct, and we received a multitude of offers in a week. His long experience working with other agents helped him in advising us about the best offer to accept. Cary took care of us like family. He expertly guided us through the entire process, from the beginning of our search to the closing of escrow (and beyond). He was genuinely kind, incredibly patient, highly educational & even went so far as to give us restaurant recommendations as we searched in different areas. Cary has become the de facto realtor for my extended family in the Bay Area as he has proven to be a great resource throughout multiple home purchase endeavors over the past decade. He is super responsive to emails, calls, and texts - which is crucial when house-hunting in such a competitive market. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area (for example, he quickly steered us away from one house located directly on a fault line!) and knows what it will take to make a winning offer. My husband and I were looking to buy a house in the Bay Area while we were located out-of-state. Cary helped us narrow our search down to a few specific neighborhoods meeting our budget and criteria, and then guided us into making a successful offer when we found the one. Even after closing on our new house, Cary continued to help us by recommending vendors for some home improvement projects and handling in-person meetings on our behalf while we were still out-of-state. Cary truly went above and beyond for us and we are so happy with our new home. The Ultimate Professional Knowledgeable Responsive and Honest Real Estate Agent, going above and way beyond! We had an amazing opportunity to meet and work with Cary Amy back in 2014 when one of our neighbors recommended him when we were considering selling our home in the Bay Area. That experience was great, he provided all the details and resources within days of our first meeting and got the ball rolling immediately, and as a result our old home sold within a week of placing it on the market at higher than list price. We had sold a few other homes, however never experienced the knowledge, reliability, responsiveness, and professionalism that Cary provided. Today, in March 2021, I reached out to ask a general question explaining our current situation and having to relocate to southern California, to my surprise, Cary once again came to our rescue, and offered to assist us in locating the right agent in the El Dorado Hills area.
