I was here last Sunday and got the rack of lamb and a glass of wine. The lamb was overcooked, the vegis were raw, and the garlic mashed potatoes were absolutely awful(no flavor, no substance like instant box potatoes). I didnt hate my meal and I'd love to come back, but for the price point I'd like a better attention to quality. I dinged down the atmosphere because a plastic tent is kind of a turnoff. The server that night was spectacular.

Silk Road in Walnut Creek offers a casual dining experience with a menu influenced by both Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines. While they have some standard options like grilled chicken breast sandwiches, their strength lies in the flavorful kabobs and appetizers. You can expect dishes like hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel alongside marinated skewers of chicken, beef, or lamb. I ordered the Greek Salad with Chicken kabab, it was healthy and light, but yet so delicious and filling. Truly a perfect choice for lunch on a sunny day. Overall, Silk Road seems like a solid choice for a relaxed meal with a focus on familiar flavors, from eastern Mediterranean flavors up to the middle eastern flavors.

I loved their lamb, but saw a roach in the restaurant. That's fine. But then when I got home there was a body hair on my lamb shank. 9/10 for the food. 2/10 for the vibe.
