Pizzalina is EXACTLY where it needs to be- nestled between Genova Deli and Milners Jewelers in Countrywood Shopping Center, Treat & Bancroft WC. With a wealth of wisdom through experience, the ownership and staff work seamlessly to deliver incredible food, drink and service to a target market previously STARVING for Pizzalina's opening. In my humble opinion, SO FAR, SO GREAT! Spring has sprung and as the days get longer, so should the line out Pizzalina's front door..... truly a template for how a new restaurant should "hit the ground running! Kid-friendliness: Pizza menu for kids!

This was a take out order of three menu items: funghi pizza with prosciutto as an extra topping, rigatoni pasta with house made sausage and brussels sprouts. I won't dispute the quality of the ingredients, it's all good stuff. But the pizza and pasta were disappointing. When it comes to pizza I prefer tomato sauce to white sauce (granted, it's a personal preference), but in this case I chose to try it as the menu listed Taggliegio or Tallegio cheese as an ingredient. I thought this would be an interesting pairing with the mushrooms and added prosciutto as an extra topping. For me the flavors did not come through and the pizza could have used a couple extra minutes in the oven. The crust was good but would have been better with a bit extra crunch. I would try another pizza next time. As for the rigatoni, it felt somewhat greasy, would have benefitted from cooking an extra minute or so. I am hoping these might be teething issues at this newish location, and would give it another shot in the future.

I used to love this place when it was Sorrento's but it is now basically overpriced fast food. Crowded uncomfortable seating and cardboard pizza crust with very little flavor. The service was not good either.
