Dr Patel is amazing and deserves a 5 stars. However, it's impossible to reach a live person at reception to make appointments or for other inquiries. They also do not use the John Muir network online so online appointment making is impossible as well. As a stroke survivor with only one functional arm as well as legally deaf. This is frustrating. Thinking of tranaferring to an office with better office management, staffing and comuter literacy.

this is for Dr. Gupta. I felt like she didn't listen to what I had say, could clearly see I was nervous and in emotional distress and was not sympathetic at all. Also, when I had adverse reactions to the initial medicine I was prescribed, i called the office several times and did not get any medical advice and had to call family members who were doctors to help with my issues.

I saw Dr. Patel a few months ago and was not happy with the care. First off, the office was very unprofessional, using an old massage table as an exam table in very small rooms. As a young woman (20yrs) I felt uncomfortable being alone with him. He did a minimal exam and right away tried to put me on MORE medications than I was already taking for my health condition, not seeming concerned about any drug interaction. He pushed magnesium infusion and when I asked "can't we just do oral Mg?" he said you can do both with no explanation or follow up along the lines of "are you more comfortable with that?". I felt like all he wanted to do is push drugs and infusions instead of asking me if I was okay with these things. I canceled all follow up and infusion appointments. Personally do not recommend this clinic.
