Dr. Rijhwani was kind and very thorough in her review of my health history and medical needs. Her office was very prompt in their follow-up with me when my lab results came in and also promptly followed up on my calls.

I never post reviews. Never. However my experience with this doctor was so poor Id like to save others from having to endure it. She was absolutely rude, displayed no compassion, was extremely mechanical, appeared more time conscious than person oriented, arrived at her own diagnosis without gathering all background information, and then yelled at me when I asked a clarifying question that disproved her false diagnosis. Save yourself the headache, dont see this doctor. If I could post 0 stars I would, waste of time and money.

After losing everything I owned in the paradise camp fire, I went to her for anti depressants. I had been crying for weeks and could not function. She told me I have post traumatic stress syndrome but then started lecturing me for not being more grateful for what I did have (insurance, family, a dog). She made me feel ashamed. I yelled at her thru my tears to stop shaming me! She came at me with her metal clip board and tried to hug me. I pushed her away. She wrote my Rx and I left. She literally added insult to injury. Rubbed salt in my wounds and nearly two years later it is still hurtful.

She correctly diagnosed me with pneumonia after other doctors had not done enough despite telling them I have asthma and know my body. She ordered labs and other tests and placed me on a strong antibiotic and nebulizer. She checked back and had me follow up until she knew I was better. She is now my PCP and I truly appreciate her knowledge and kindness.
