Dr Haynes & her staff provide excellent dental care & service. I have been a patient of Dr. Haynes for 6 years & I highly recommend her. I live in Oakland but I travel to Walnut Creek to see her, that is just how good she is.

This review is a couple of weeks late but I would be remissed in not leaving one. I've been a regular patient of Dr. Haynes for 6 years. Her office provides great care & customer service. I had an emergency two weeks ago on a Saturday. The office was getting ready to close & at the same time an old crown of mine popped off. I called the office & the after hours answering service immediately put me in touch with Dr. Haynes. The office was closed but Dr. Haynes was still there & she waited for me since I had to drive from Oakland to Walnut Creek. I can't tell you how relieved I was because the pain was starting to kick in. I got there & Dr. Haynes quickly examined the crown & since it was still in good condition she re-cemented it & I was on my way back home. I couldn't imagine better service than that !

I went here for several cleanings, things were pretty standard and i was reasonably pleased with the service.  I referred my wife here, and that's where things went bad.  Dr. Haynes attempted a filling and crown, but went too deep and caused the need for a root canal in one of my wifes teeth.  She did not explain what she was doing, just had my wife sign a waiver while she was drugged.  The injections in her gums did not control the pain, so for about an hour she got her mouth drilled on with no pain control.After that my wife decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion.  She then discovered how bad it really was, that the crown prep work was a hack job, and she actually killed one tooth and the one next to it needed a root canal as a result.  Dr. Haynes office billed the insurance for the work, INCLUDING a crown that was NEVER PUT IN HER MOUTH.  We disputed this with Delta Dental, and after several months of back and forth with them, we finally got the money refunded.The addtional repair work she needed in her mouth cost us thousands of dollars.I would never go back to Dr. Haynes, nor would I recommend her to anyone.  So, if you choose to roll the dice on this shady dental practice, good luck to you.
