Unprofessional director/teacher/staff. ABSOLUTELY not pleased. I urge parents to re-consider this Little flower Montessori at Walnut Creek if this is in your short list. I somewhat overlooked some previous reviews and let my little one attend for more than 6 months. My experience in this day care center was not pleasant at all. First, I would like to echo other earlier comments; the director seems to over her head and unable to deal with problems. Related to the point above, another annoying fact was one front desk staff is keep involving in child education. I am not sure whether it is common practices or legitimate that a front staff who generally receives phone calls keeps entering classrooms, and INTERRUPTING/ATTENDING important meetings between parents and director. More seriously, this is what the director wants; she keeps inviting that staff (not a classroom teacher) to our meetings (btw the director and parent) without our agreement. I felt so uncomfortable. Presumably, because the director cannot handle well by herself. As a parent, however, you don't want to talk about important issue of your child with a front desk staff. There are some variations always. However, the teachers did not seem that they have good enough experience to deal with issues and provide good cares. Also, too many students in one room, creating chaotic environment which could be very hard for little ones. Teachers/floaters are moving in and out to keep the ratio, and our kids also had to move in and out to other rooms. My kid had a hard time adjusting to such an environment. From my experience, I failed to see whether they are really care about child education/care. I understand that it is a profit organisation, but profit cannot be a first priority when it comes to a child care/education institution. Oh yes, once the day care suffered from head lice. Hope my review helps.
