Terri Hogoboom at Cothran and Johnson is one of the best and smartest CPAs I know. I have worked with her for mutual clients over 20 years. She is always responsive and professional. She always handles some of the most complex tax issues I have come across in my legal practice with calm, skill, and results. Due to her tax knowledge, she has saved my clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes. She and the firm deserve 10 stars.

I have used C&J for ~40 years.  They are efficient, reliable and get the taxes filed on time.  They give accurate advise on tax planning and I have had no IRS auditsgregory rhodes

Was with this firm for over 20 years. Never received a "thank you" for my business. Communication was always terse and abrupt. Last year, despite having all my info to them on time, I heard nothing as we approached 4/15. After several attempts at emails, received two line reply. "We are filing for extension for you". No "we're sorry for the delay" or " we appreciate your business" etc. this year I found another CPA firm for less money and filed right on time. A week before 7/15, received a short email from Cothran asking if I realized the deadline was 7/15 and did I want them to do my taxes. I responded that I found another CPA firm. They never asked me why, they were sorry to lose me, absolutely nothing from them in reply. I would NOT recommend using this company.
