Allexis Helplessly Unlovable Leavitt
So far this place has been a really great place. There's only 1 staff member who is at the location and is completely out of line. The other staff members are purely nice!! Very communicative and trying to even help the tenants as needed/ allowed!

I went to my storage unit and tried to open my unit but didnt have the right key. I went back home picked up more miscellaneous keys and bolt cutters so I can get into my storage. When I went back to the storage, the owner was there. She noticed that I could not open the lock and ask if I came back with a key. I explained that I brought several keys with me hoping that one of them would work. She then said that if my keys dont work, I cannot cut my own lock, on my unit with my belongings. She said that my stuff is on her property and that I need to go through their locksmith. I can clearly use my bolt cutters to open my lock. That is not the problem and replace the lock. The problem is that I cant because somehow my property, somehow considered their property and I cant use my own locksmith or my own bolt cutters to get to my personal belongings. When I questioned how that was possible, the owner said it is in my contract and that I should read it. I asked her for a copy because it was over 4 years ago when I signed it and I no longer have a copy. She said that she could not produce a contract and that I should have it. At that point, I was starting to get upset and I said that I dont think what you are doing is actually legal and I should at least get a copy of the contract to review it. I said again that this doesnt sound right that I have to only use their locksmith and that his seems very orchestrated to be some type of scheme/scam. I said that I just got off work and I dont have any time to go back and forth about a copy of a contract that she cannot provide and I just need to try my keys to to if they work. She actually said Dont get sassy with me missy. Really? I ignored her and drove to my unit to try to open my lock with the keys that I had. She walked over with a smile and gave me a 30 day notice to vacate. I was going to vacate anyway. I would not be able to deal with someone that takes messing with people a thrill. Yeah. #nope. I didnt swear. I didnt yell. I was as calm as a person could be in that situation. She didnt like it when I questioned her. I was confused and upset that she would not provide a copy of the contract. Ive never experienced a situation like this before. I dont know if other storage places act this way but it seems like a bunch of Junk Yard Dogs run these places. Not professional. No class. It is a racket.
