My husband and I have always had regular dental check-ups and cleaning throughout our lives, but as we've grown older we seem to be developing more dental problems (along with other physical breakdowns!) We discovered Sycamore Dental practice on a walk with our dog by our house and decided to transfer our care to them (from our dentist far away and who is soon to retire) after an initial consultation with each of them (they are a husband-wife team).
What is unique about this practice is: 1)They are very high-tech and have the latest equipment and technology including CT scans and using laser for fillings (no need for novocaine numbing unless the treatment is quite extensive) 2)They perform regular dental care AND more extensive surgery like root canals and implants and are comfortable and competent doing so 3) They have an excellent, professional, and compassionate staff who have been with them a LONG time (always a good sign of good management) 4) They are proactive in addressing problems early vs our old dentist who seemed to wait until there was an obvious problem. 5) They are meticulous in their work 6)They are great educators and willing to spend time with you to explain just what and why they are doing what they are in your situation. 6) Their dental hygienist Bethany who does your teeth cleaning with this special high-tech method is AMAZING. My teeth have NEVER been so clean after a cleaning. 7)They are very good at keeping you up to date with reminders and are very responsive when you reach to the office for anything 8)They are very compassionate, humane, and kind-hearted dentists. They even call you at home after extensive procedures to see how you are doing!
The down side to great dental care is that it is not cheap. They do accept some dental plans but we don't have any dental insurance so we must pay for everything out of pocket. However, we are very grateful to have found them and hopefully, with their help, we will keep our teeth until we die.

I received good care at this dentist; however, the receptionist did not inform me that they are out of network when I asked about my insurance coverage before making the appointment, which led to a high bill afterwards. When I called to ask why, the receptionist responded that they technically take my insurance but it is their practice to never inform patients of in-network vs out of network in order to not confuse them. Pretty disappointed in this response and this behavior. I recommend double checking this information on your own as it seems you cant trust youll get the full picture from the dental provider, and this is a lesson learned on my end. Everyone just wants to make a buck these days!

They are like family, the entire staff, warm friendly and great with children. I've been a returing patient for over 20 years, my Wife, Mom and Daughters love them.

Really great experience every time going to this office. Always happy with a smile, and passionate professional about their jobs. Makes going to the dentist something to look forward to and painless as possible. Their laser machine is the best.

I cannot express how thankful I am to have found Dr. Sarkaria and Dr. Englert. My 11 year old had a dental emergency, right at the beginning of COVID shutdowns, and these doctors went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that she was taken care of even when it was extremely complicated for them to do so during such strict protocols. We called for an appointment when we saw one small blister on her gum that looked like it could have been an abscess. We decided to give Sycamore Dental a try since I had read good reviews about them. When we saw Dr. S and she reviewed the scans, we had no idea that my daughter was suffering from multiple infection sites and other complications due to a previous accident and several misdiagnoses by previous dentists. Dr. Sarkaria's knowledge and attention to detail showed that my daughter needed treatment for infection and several extractions immediately and she took the time to explain all of our options and really cared that we understood and were able to voice our concerns and preferences. She even found where my daughter had fractured her jaw in the old accident, something that never showed up on any other doctors' scans!  Her bedside manner was superb. My daughter has been through a lot of dental trauma and the time and care she took to speak so gently and positively to her meant so much to me. After coordinating with anesthesiologists and multiple other staff members during a time where almost no one was seeing patients, my daughter received the best care and we are just so thankful for everything. The rest of my family has since become patients and even though we all have different needs, we've each walked away from our treatments feeling like we really found the best of the best! I cannot recommend them more highly.
