Its hard to frame my experience with Sam as just a traditional client/hairstylist dynamic. What she did for me is really life changing and the service she provides goes beyond simple aesthetics. With empathy, gentleness, humor, and skill, she gathers information to know the motivation, hangups, and dreams of her clients before the physical work ever begins. Sam installed a mesh integration system for me, as I have severe hair thinning due to a number of factors. I couldnt be happier with the entire experience and of course with the end result. She was communicative, supportive, and truly an artist in her craft. I highly recommend having Sam on your team if youre striving to live your best life. I have a therapist and now I have a hairapist! Aside from Sam being an amazing human and extremely talented, highlights of her service include a thorough consultation; a beautiful environment, currently located at the KINshoppe Salon in Ventura; skillful installation and very smooth process; aftercare tips and support; and a loaded goodie bag to get you started right on care and maintenance. She understands that you are not only investing in hair, and her service, but are investing in yourself, and is a great partner on that journey. Her confidence in her own skills is comforting to someone traveling outside of their comfort zone, and her confidence in her clients is contagious.

Sam is the best!! Ive suffered from trichotillomania for decades, and have avoided haircuts for 15+ years. I had an event coming up and was hoping to get a topper to cover up some regrowth around my crown- she did a virtual consultation with me beforehand (I live a couple of hours away), and we were able to schedule an appointment a couple weeks later, all which fit in my tight timeline. She was so validating, gracious, and reassuring through the whole process. It was very anxiety-inducing and overwhelming to have someone touching my hair after so many years, but she made me feel SO comfortable. She walked me through everything beforehand and answered all of my questions, there wasnt any rush at all. She taught me how to care for the topper, how to put it on, best practices, everything! She also was able to do a small cut/color my natural hair to make sure everything blended beautifully, and she even styled the topper for me Its also made from real hair, and she did an excellent job matching my hairs thickness and tone. Highly recommend- this is such a sensitive topic for so many women suffering from some sort of hair loss or thinning, and it can be so difficult to 1) find a stylist experienced with hair loss and 2) have the courage to go. Sam was just so amazingly patient and affirming. I felt very comfortable throughout our entire appointment. She also got me flowers and a little gift bag as my appointment was on Valentines Day

Sam is AMAZING! When I first met with Sam at our consultation, we talked a lot about my hair journey.. Ive been wearing extensions for 20 years (off and on) so I had concerns about maintenance (as I travel a lot and am constantly in the ocean) but also what my dream hair would look like she then went to work creating me the perfect, custom and amazing solution using a combination of sewn in extensions and a topper. I have very thin, brittle hair so Im limited with how much hair and volume I could achieve with sew in extensions, but by adding a topper, i could double the amount of hair AND style in advance making my get ready time SO much faster - she really addressed all my needs and I never imagined I could ever have hair this full and beautiful! literally, life changing I couldnt be more happy with what she created. Thank you thank you thank you!

If I could give Sam 10 stars, Id give her 20! She did an absolutely amazing job with my extensions that I had wanted for such a long time but was very hesitant to try. Not only was Sam informative and didnt sugar coat what possible trouble you can have a long the way if not cared for properly (like most things) but shes also very caring and always available for questions and not to mention super fun! I had struggled for many years to find my confidence and I promised myself that 2024 (my last year in my 30s) was going to be the start of my Glow Up era to enter my 40s and today was definitely a day where I felt so effin beautiful and confident! And a plus, my husband loved it so much he looked like this but what he said meant more to me, he said what he liked most was the confidence shining through my smile and that made me so happy and honestly tear up a bit. I couldnt have done this without Sam! Youre the best, you are amazing at your art and we need more people like you as a stylist and human
