DJ's California Catering

We hired DJ's to cater and provide rentals for a St. Patrick's Day celebration of life. They already had a corned beef menu available and were very accommodating when I requested to provide our own breads and additional desserts. Lauren was very helpful in getting us set up with a quote and was very responsive with sorting out all of the details. The crew that worked the event- Alex, Yessi, Jerry, and Douglas, were all extremely professional, friendly, and kind. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the rotisserie roasted chicken (and I am VERY picky about chicken!), and many people asked the employees for a card to inquire about catering their own events. They were also punctual and very efficient, making what was a difficult day for me as painless as possible. Thank you again, especially to Yessi, who went above and beyond.

Our wedding venue worked exclusively with DJs California Catering which meant we didn't have to go through the often stressful process of selecting a caterer. It was truly a blessing in disguise! Lauren at DJ's was a key part of our wedding planning, keeping us connected and informed throughout the entire process. She made us feel like we were her top priority, and her communication was impeccable. She helped with everything from napkin colors to the final day of setup and everything in between. We scheduled an in-person tasting at their location in Ventura, which was an experience that made us feel truly special. The food was nothing short of incredible, leaving us eager for the culinary delights our wedding day would bring. While DJ's California Catering offers several catering packages, we decided on the buffet option. It not only provided our guests with flexibility but also helped us stick to our budget without compromising on quality. We had the freedom to choose dishes that perfectly suited our tastes and the preferences of our guests. Our menu featured exquisite selections, including a Roasted Top Sirloin Baron of Beef, the Chicken Breast Provencal, and a vegetarian option, Pasta Porcini with Wild Mushrooms. On our wedding day, the food exceeded all expectations. It was exactly like the tasting - fresh, and bursting with flavor. The compliments poured in from our guests, with many expressing that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and we couldn't agree more. I am so happy to have found DJs Catering and had them provide food, bartending, and rentals at our wedding! They made the process so easy and seamless and it was very convenient to have the same vendor provide so many services. I had to adjust our order multiple times and Doug was very helpful and accommodating (and quick to answer emails too)! The taco buffet food surpassed my expectations and many guests let me know how delicious the food was afterwards. Doug and his team were very accommodating to our gluten-free and vegetarian guests and made special notes of where they were seated at our dinner tables. His team did a great job with load-in and clean-up. I would highly recommend for any future bride-to-be!

My wife and I chose DJs Catering for our wedding and we are so glad we did. We did a tasting with them and were impressed by the quality of the foodwe didnt want anything crazy, but rather just really high quality, and they delivered. Per our request, DJs added allergen information cards so our guests with food allergies were able to clearly see what they should and should not eat, and that was a really nice thing for us to have peace of mind for our guests. They also did a welcome beverage bar, a coffee/tea bar, and added Root Beer to our drink menu after we requested it (its my wifes favorite). We got a ton of compliments on the food, especially the ice cream and churro dessert that DJs did. I dont think there were any leftovers! They were very easy to work with and we loved that they have rentals available. We were even able to add last minute umbrellas when the forecast called for rain the week of our wedding.
