Ventura Volkswagen Service

As a resident of formerly Ventura and now Oxnard, my 2019 Golf Alltrack has been serviced by Ventura Volkswagen since I acquired my vehicle in March of Covid 2020. My car was purchased with a 60K maintenance package so theyve been able to keep my car maintained with basic oil, changes and wheel rotations but I lost confidence in their service levels with my last two scheduled maintenance. The major issue happened on my 50K service when they forgot to tighten down my oil cap and oil was spat out all over the engine compartment. The service manager was very apologetic and fixed it but that was strike one. The second was when the service advisor that took my vehicle in for my 60K service informed me that would do a tire rotation for only $10 saying it was a better deal than the coupon I brought in for $20. Unbeknownst to them I keep track and marked my tires, and no rotation was ever done and not only that, whoever put my car on the lift did it incorrectly and the underside of my right hand bottom door trim was damaged. I always try to be fair with most things that require service with human errors involved, but these are things that really got under my skin since I expect a Volkswagen dealer to take good care of my VW vehicle. Just be aware of the things that you bring your car in for service and make sure to inspect it when you get it back.
