20 minutes jetski fun, a month-long dispute, and 1500 USD of lost deposit. Think twice before you rent here & read all the other reviews! We rented 2 jet skis on September 11th. After 20 minutes, one jetski had lost all of its oil and stopped working while we were on the ocean. The other jet ski was returned in good condition after 45 minutes.'The jet ski rental claimed that we broke the first jetski by running over debris. As a result, the rental company kept the deposit of both (!) jetskis (2 x 750 USD). Until today, I am struggling with the approach of the jetski company because (1) there was zero evidence that we caused the first jetski to loose it's oil, (2) there is no reason to keep the deposit of both jetskis if only one breaks, and (3) we never received any evidence that costs of 1500 USD occured. Attempts to resolve the issue (chat on-site, call the next week) were rejected from the rental company. A credit card dispute was not successful (simply because the rental company lets you sign all documents they need before you rent the jet ski & because they know how to handle the credit card company). Learnings from this painful experience: (a) Trust the reviews. If a place like this has 3.2 stars with all sorts of SCAM reviews, there is a reason! (b) Never use the same credit card for the deposit of 2 rentals. (c) Create evidence by filming the handover of the jetski [incl. the motor] & everything that happens once things start going wrong. If you made it 'til here, here again my recommendation: DO NOT RENT HERE. Leave this Google Maps entry. Now!
