Finally a doctor who listens. He was quick but thorough and listened. He even is the first doctor who noted I need to see rheumatologist in the four years I've been showing my condition to doctors after having covid.

I fractured my wrist, playing softball, and during the fracture it cut my tendon to my pinky finger, which would not allow me to extend it fully. The magic that Dr. Niska worked allowed me to have full function of my wrist and he was able to surgically repair my fingers, so I had full function of all of them. His professionalism and expertise in his field is exceptional and I would highly recommend him to anyone having hand issues.

Dr. Niska was not only extremely impatient and unwilling to answer my questions, he gave me harmful medical advice. I received an MRI that showed I had an TFCC tear in my wrist as well as early signs of osteoarthritis. He suggested that there was no way for my wrist to heal, and when I asked about non-surgical interventions such as physical therapy or resting my wrist for a period of time, or whether there was a way to prevent the pain from coming back as it had for several months, I was berated for not accepting the fact that my wrist would never heal again. I have since seen a more qualified doctor who is helping me rehabilitate my wrist. I would stay away from Dr. Niska unless you want to be chased out of the room with the worst case scenario prognosis after being made to wait 1 hour due to the office's own time management issues.
