For those of you who want a short review, I will just briefly state that Eli is an exceptional guitar technician that I would recommend to anyone looking to get any and all modifications to their guitar. He is clearly very knowledgable with guitars, but additionally, he is very responsive, friendly, and fair when it comes to pricing.
Now the longer versionI reached out to Eli and was able to book an appointment with him very quickly. When I brought my guitar over and explained what I wanted, he immediately understood what needed to be done. I wanted to get my Fender Jaguar routed for new pickups, but my guitar needed a new pick-guard to fit them. However there were no preexisting models online that were exactly what I neededso Eli offered to make it himself. Eli not only matched the price of a custom pick-guard, but made discounts on both the pick-guard he would make for me, as well as the labor overall. The final price was far less than I anticipated.
Eli was super communicative to me throughout. He texted me at each stage of the process, and made it pretty clear when it was going to be done. I only had to wait one week for him to finish it. When the guitar was finished, he promptly let me know and I was able to get it that same day.
Giving Eli 5/5 stars was an easy choice, as his service more than exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going to him in the future for my guitar needs. This guy rocks!
