I received a call on 4/27 from Canyon Plastics' Business Development Manager. Mr. Gajera was very polite and apologized for the difficulty I had in getting responses to my email inquiries. Canyon's customer service team is pleasant and I believe they will improve communication moving forward. I have done business with Canyon Plastics in the past and will continue to purchase their products.

This organization has a very appealing manufacturing business, but their recruitment and HR practices are unprofessional. I was seeking employment last year. I applied and attended multiple interviews after hours and on the weekend. The employer communication was few and far between. They indicated they would need me to start as soon as possible, then proceeded to avoid communication. In one instance, I came to walk the plant from a prescheduled walk and the person who I was to meet with was not around. Someone else walked me through and discussed starting ASAP. I corresponded with them following the walk to which I expressed the lack of communication must have meant they filled the position, they indicated they had not and looked forward to adding me to their team. I never heard from them again. It has been months. They dont have suitable HR processes or basic respect for both their employees and prospective talent. During my visits I overheard the complaints of employees regarding the plant. It appears that they are customer centered but the employees do not receive the same degree of attention. Do not leave stable employment for a dressed up opportunity here.
