I have been coming to this practice for 13 years. My favorite part about coming to this practice was seeing a hygienist named Carrie but she no longer works there and Josephine at the front desk was always very helpful. Overall the dental work provided has been great however this practice has a strict policy on missed appointments which they DO make you aware of upfront and on your monthly bills. The fee for a missed appointment (same day cancellation) is $75.00. Over the course of 13 years I believe I have had 3 missed appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. Two were several years ago and the most recent last week. On the first occurrence I believe the fee was waived, on the second I paid the $75 since I understood the policy. About 10 years passed with no missed appointments. I had a situation at work that I could not get out of and I unfortunately was going to be 20 minutes late to my appointment. I called and they said I had to reschedule and was going to be charged a $75 late fee. I understand the policy but I thought after coming here for 13 yrs that there maybe some consideration of my unforeseen circumstance but there wasn't. I felt like like simply a transaction. No loyalty or understanding. With this being said after 13 yrs I have decided to switch practices to an office where I feel like my business matters. I called in to advise that I was switching practices and the reason why and I was told they would go ahead and transfer my files.
