I can't believe I'm writing a Yelp about a liquor store but I just have to. Let me preface this by stating that I am 32 years old, turning 33 in two months. I've shopped at this store several times with no problem. I go in yesterday to purchase some alcohol and the chick at the counter asks for my ID. No problem, sometimes I still get carded- I take it as a compliment. What I don't take as a compliment is her looking at my license, literally scanning it, & then babbling that she's not sure if she can take my ID. I laughed and said what, that doesn't look like me? That's my actual license, my hair is just a different color. And then she says again she's not sure, she can't tell if that's me. Are you kidding me?! My hair is a different color- my face is the same. You legit scanned my ID & saw that's it's real. I was trying to purchase less than $10 worth of alcohol. I snatched my license and told her to shove it up her ass. At that point it was insulting that she was acting like I was being dishonest and trying to unjustly buy alcohol. I might look young, but I definitely don't look like I'm under 21. How would you feel if I asked you for your green card?
