Fairfield Inn by Marriott Vacaville

We booked the Fairfield Inn on January 20th as a part of our road trip plan for the March Break. We were very surprised to arrive at the hotel in March to discover that we had to pay a pet fee of $100! I had messaged the inn back in January to let them know that we were bringing our dog with us. They never messaged back to let us know that we would have to pay a $100 fee for our dog! Unheard of.. we travel frequently with our dog. When considering that we paid $119 dollars for the room for our family of 4, this dog fee is exorbitantly high, paying double the price because we have a dog?? It was late when we arrived and we didn't want to deal with going to find another hotel so we sucked it up and paid the price...but this was too hard to swallow...I had to mention this on Google. We were very disappointed for not being informed early on and that we had to pay such a high price. Very wrong in our opinion!

I really like this hotel, it's in a super quiet area. Very clean & great prices.

It's ok.Could be better Rooms: Small and cold Nearby activities: Huge outlet shopping 5 minutes walk.Great location Food & drinks: Stayed for 10 nights,had the same breakfast every single morning.Boring

I recommend. Nice short-stay hotel with an indoor swimming pool.
