N & S Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical

Nick did me a solid and drove all the way down to my Palm Springs Condo to help me with some electrical work and he also tuned up my A/C system. Everything is working great now and I can't be more pleased with his professional work ethic. I will hire Nick again! He was more than reasonable with his pricing!

I first met Nick Moore at Calvary Chapel La Habra where he was installing (for free) all of the A/C systems throughout this sprawling church property. 8-10 Units if I remember correctly. Found out that he had volunteered his time to do the same for the Calvary Chapel Murrieta Hot Springs retreat location down in Murrieta, CA. I've heard from other Calvary Chapel pastors that Nick had done the same thing for their churches at no charge. So knowing that this man definitely has a servant's heart, I asked him to come to my house and replace my entire heating and air conditioning system. Nick suggested relocating the new unit up into my attic and suspending the entire unit from all thread steel poles bolted to my roof joists. Nicks logic was if the entire unit is suspended in the air, when it shut off and turned on, the house would not shudder or shake. I specified a unit at twice the size for my house. A 5 Ton Unit with a 2000 CFM blower. My house is only 1850sq.ft. Yeah, I'll be cool. I had two other bids for the job from other licensed A/C Contractors. Nick was about $800.00 under the other bids for the same job. Nick replaced all of my duck work in the attic with new insulated ducting and gave me a brand new A/C system with a low "seer" rating. When he was finished I was totally satisfied with the entire experience. Nick is a pleasure to work with and continuously has good cheer while he works. So about 15 months into using the new system, the condenser outside started to leak Freon. Of course I was just outside of the manufactures warranty period to which I was upset about. I called Nick and he came out right away and replaced the condenser with a unit that even had I higher "seer" rating than the one that failed and did not charge me one cent for the work or condenser! Who does that anymore? Needless to say, Nick has gotten all of my business and has even worked on my neighbors systems. Nick has always been fair in his pricing and stands behind his work. So fast forward about 11 years, I just had Nick come back out to the house to add even more vents and returns throughout the house. We've added a lot of electronics that pump large amounts of heat out of them. My son's gaming computer and Virtual Reality Rig in his room, our "home office" room has way too many electronic items in it, so did my daughters room. And all of these rooms are of course on the hot side of the house. Nick knocked it out in just a couple of days working in a very hot attic. The house cools down so fast now I'm almost stunned. Nick even checked the replaced condenser just to make sure it's not leaking. It's not, whew! There are very few contractors in the world who are as consciences as Nick, about his work ethic and your satisfaction. Nick went out of his way, to not make a mess when cutting new holes for the returns and vents into each of our rooms and went out of his way to clean up any mess left when he was finished. Nick deserves the highest praise I can bestow upon a contractor. On many fronts, he is a great human being. Wish I had more work to give him.
