Replicated Grass Systems

Replicated grass systems installed turf in my backyard in November of 2020. I never like to do reviews immediately after something is done, it all looks great the day after installation. It has now been two years since the installation and it still looks great! It has held up to slip and slides, two dogs, teen parties, movie nights and workouts. We have gotten compliments on how realistic it looks, how soft it is and love that it does not have fill that gets everywhere. Could not be more pleased.

We were excited to get turf installed in our backyard, and met with a bunch of turf company representatives. I saw Replicated Grass Systems product in person by visiting neighbors' homes, and it looked good. We liked the idea that there's none of the rubber or other particulate stuff used, unlike other turf options. Their turf feels great on the feet and looks good overall. However we encountered a couple of problems. First, there is a seam down the middle of the lawn area that despite their best efforts, is visible and isn't going away. Second, there are patches that got melted from indirect sun reflection. When the estimator came they said it wouldn't be a problem because our house windows were far from the lawn, but this turned out to be incorrect. Initially the Replicated Grass Systems team were helpful and came by to try to remedy the problem, which was appreciated. But this didn't really solve the problem (the seam is still visible). To follow up, we asked for some discount, or  complimentary service such as brushing, to make up for the imperfections in the installation. After we paid the bill in full, and responded to Steve's e-mail requesting feedback, we haven't heard back. The turf from far away looks good, and it works well for playing on, and our dog likes it, but we were disappointed with the visible seam and the preventable turf melting. I wouldn't go with them in retrospect, despite the great turf product. What we learned is that if you have west-facing windows, especially 2nd floor ones, this could be a problem and you should use some window film to protect your turf.

This is just a heads up to city dwellers or others who do not have a yard large enough to meet their $4900 minimum. They absolutely had me convinced that they were the best. Until. Yeah. I'm not gonna believe that any more and I will engage one of their "lesser" competitors with more appreciation than before.

High quality no filler thick proprietary grass(no cork or sand on shoes or clothes) Great install. Charged a very reasonable amount for an up slope backyard. Long warranty of 15 years(will update).

Above and Beyond!Replicated installed my lawn several years ago.  Very satisfied and still looks great.  Efficient service and decent price.  A+But now ...The water company is complaining about the turf covering up part of the water meter access.  Replicated had provided great access to the cement lid, but the section they wanted was always buried under a ton of dirt and was never visible.  A totally unreasonable request.Without hesitation, Steve from Replicated had Nacho come in, cut the turf, dig out the entire section, replace the turf and make it as beautiful as possible (though obviously not ideal).What a great company.  Never argued with me and didn't even ask for a cent.This unsolicited Yelp review is the only way I know to repay them.
