The office staff was great but the physician for my post job offer employment exam blatantly told me before the exam that she would not approve my exam because I have service connected disability from military. She in fact recommended that I go back to the VA and get it lowered and come back again. Now because of this I was removed from an employment list and have to appeal this exam which means I foot the bill and this process will be drawn out for how ever long it takes. Melinda Carol MD basically came into he room and didn’t want to hear anything so she had already made her decision prior to coming to exam room. I can only imagine how many people have had biased and misdiagnosis at this facility. Definitely would hope the County of Mendocino will look into having accountability with medical contractors.

I misplaced a copy of my DOT physical. I called Job Care Ukiah. Told them what i needed. They emailed a release form immediately. I filled it out the form and emailed it back to them. Within 5 hrs. Beginning to end, I had in my hand a copy of my physical. I was especially grateful of their expedited turnaround. Thank you!

Dealing with Jobcare was a nightmare. If your going in for a physical examination I would ask to NOT have Stephanie Patton. Because of her incomplete examination I had to go through a month of hell getting third party results disproving her results. I would avoid Jobcare and if you are being forced to go to them I would question everything they do and get it in writing.

Front office staff and medical assistant were very nice . But it was all ruined when I saw the doctor , Stephanie Patton. My appointment lasted about 4 minutes where she lacked any type of compassion and critical thinking skills . She makes up her mind about your condition without really even talking to you about the pain you are in. If you want a medical provider who shows empathy and actually listens to you , I would suggest seeing anyone but her at Jobcare.

Six months into my "treatment" while I was drugged up on pain pills I was told I needed to sign some forms so that we could proceed with the next step of my treatment; making an appointment with an actual job care doctor and having the injured discs in my back actually imaged properly. Not until after I signed the forms I couldn't read (do to the tearing up of my eyes from the near constant pain) did the nurse, who had prescribed months of physical therapy without determining if it was actually going to help our hurt me, tell me that I was actually signing a form that said my injury was not job related. When I protested this she implied that she had tricked me for my own good because my employer was threatening to fire me for being injured. KNow that no one from my employers office said this to me. This was something she made up herself. I'm still on restricted duty with my employer because my"treatment by job care was stopped at that point and all future appointments were can cancelled because workers comp wouldn't cover the cost if the doctor declared it was not work related. Good luck getting a supervisor on the line to complain about it or even speaking with a licenced doctor. By the way. Most of the medication this medical provider gave me was sketchy as it was handed to me in person at the facility and not prescribed through a pharmacy. If you have the option to see any other provider do so. If you ever want to be treated like a human being. This office is only concerned with turn over and how they look on paper. They have no care about patients. They don't care if you actually get better just how they can trick or threaten you into signing of that your injury was not work related. Oh yeah. Then they will breach your confidentiality continuously. Adventist health is not an organization which can be trusted to care for you or your personal medical information.
