Relatively easy. A simple but acceptable truck that was easy to drive. Nice touch having the lock for the rear hatch included. Friendly staff. Only reason four stars is that the apps are a little unwieldy (not any issue specific to Tustin location). Example: I could only accept pictures of the condition of the truck (not on my own) and there was nothing at all showing right side, so I was a little worried about some pre-existing scratches. Figuring out the check-in "after hours" app also took 15 minutes or so. It was all fine and U-Haul is much less expensive than Penske, but there is some room for improvement, if U-Haul corporate is paying attention to these reviews.

It was amazingly smooth. The staff was very helpful. I would just recommend them to take special attention for those who would be driving trucks for the first time & give them little tutorial and tips on how to operate. It's definitely different experience than driving regular cars. All good otherwise.

Nothing okay The guys harassed us before we ever left about saying that they didn't think we're going to get the truck back on time or something like this so they were going to keep my deposit and yeah there was nothing good about my experience with this truck rental this time

Our truck wasn't at the shop at the time of arrival. On the website it says you are promised the truck at your reservation time or given $50 credit and a truck. The staff did not hold up this policy. We were given a truck 25 minutes later. However, it was very irritating because I had taken my 18 month old with me to pick up the truck, hoping it would be on time. However, it wasn't. Luckily, we managed to get the truck after waiting 25 minutes. The staff didn't seem to care that we were waiting for the truck past our time.
