I met with Valerie Prescott for a consultation.  She was on time, prepared, and knowledgeable.   I appreciated that she took her time to listen and understand the entire case, go through next steps etc.  When I showed up for what I thought would be a continuation of my court case and it didn't go as planned, I called her and she was on the phone with me immediately even though I hadn't retained her services yet.  I highly recommend Ms. Prescott.  She knows the law and will be by your side the entire time.

Prescott and Prescott has represented my husband for the past few years now for child custody.  I can not say enough good things about this firm. Everyone there is responsive and knows their stuff. They are great to work with. Valerie works smarter not harder minimizing over billing her clients. She is great in the court room and remembers details. After my attorney left the firm, I was given Tonya Prescott as a substitute attorney. At trial, Ms. Prescott was not prepared at all. She forgot evidence, did not seem to know what questions to ask, allowed me to be at a disadvantage in my very contentious custody matter. She also made me look bad in court by not preparing me for trial and asking me questions that I had no idea she was going to ask. She also admitted to me that she did not read my file. I demanded after 2 days of trial, that she be removed but the damage was done and I discovered later that I had paid her 10k for those two days.

By far the most trustworthy, compassionate, and knowledgeable attorney I have come across. Valerie Prescott fought hard for my case and her office is extremely organized and thorough. Family law is extremely scary to navigate however she has helped me through it with her support and guidance. Highly recommend!
