    Rego has always kept our walk in refrigerator and freezer up and running and also our upright refrigerator and freezer at the foodbank. Technicians are helpful and prompt. We appreciate their service.

    NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS! They don't even ask you how much they will charge you which is very unprofessional and do whatever poor work on your refrigerator and charge you with a overly expensive price. We told them we weren't going to pay the price after charging us a very expensive price without even telling us and doing a very poor job WHICH DIDNT EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM They literally looked at our face and laughed and said they will send us to collections and take our fridge if we didn't pay for the service they did on us without even letting us know what they were doing. So unprofessional. Please don't ever do business with these thieves again!

    Also how do you threaten your customers that you will not allow any other refrigeration companies do work for you? How is that allowed. It is literally crazy to think of. This company of JC Rego think that they are the boss of all refrigeration companies which is ridiculous, while they are out here with more 1 star ratings than anything. This says alot about this company that they care about the money only and nothing about customer service. They show the highest class of unprofessionalism and disrespect in terms of service. I dont even know what measures or standards they use to even come up with their prices, but just charge on their own on what they think is right. Literally horrible people and company, and John needs to do a better job in just being a better owner and having better service. Services: Heating system repair, Installation, Thermostat installation

    I strongly advise you to be careful here and choose another place! I've been getting help with church air conditioning repairs and fixing the fridge or air conditioner in the restaurant for a long time! But it's no longer open because the boss is retiring! So I had to ask this place to repair the refrigerator! But he just injected Freon gas and charged me $950 for repairs! I was so surprised and bewildered but it was a busy Friday and I was paid for a year of free warranty repairs! 3 months later I got it repaired again for the same Freon gas problem, but I asked him to finish it because I was going to give $120 for the repair! But he said if you don't give him the $460 he wants, he'll hand it over to the collection and it's going on! This place is really operating with the intention of trading customers only once!

Hello Hyo Choi,Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the delay on a response to your review two months ago. We just saw this today on our google page.You claim we did not give you our prices. When a new customer calls, we tell them our service call fees and our service hourly rate. We do not know the prices of parts and materials until we diagnose the problem and know what will is needed. We also told your manager that we collect at the time we complete the job. Not one of our staff literally laughed in your faces as you claim in your review. In fact, we have only dealt with the manager and the owner for the calls for your restaurant. When we went for the first time for this particular unit it had no charging valves. Our head technician was given the okay by the manager to braze two saddle valves in order to check Freon levels. Your unit was low of R290 refrigerant which is pure propane and highly flammable. It can ignite if not used correctly. Our technician looked for any obvious leaks. The prices for refrigerants is very expensive and according to our other customers our prices are reasonable compared to other service companies on Freon charges. Two months later when you emailed us that the unit may need more Freon, we came out and this time found a leak on the liquid line and our technician sealed the leak by brazing it, he told the manager he will be back in a couple of days to see if the refrigerant levels are okay and the system is holding temperature and will collect payment. A couple days later we received an Email from the manager asking if there would be any fees and we told them yes because the unit was working for two months and it was a different issue. We mentioned also that our technician would be coming over there in a few days to ensure that the unit was holding temperatures. Our technician came back one week later to ensure the unit was holding. The manager told us he would be there, he was not there when our technician arrived nor any of the owners to pay for the technician after he did the final inspection of the unit.All work that our head technician had done was approved by the owner and/or the manager. Leaks are difficult to find and there could be more leaks that were not detectable. There is no guarantees we find all the leaks. We repaired all leaks found and the unit was holding the correct temperatures one week later and had to mail you the invoice as no one was there to make the payment. When we did not receive payment, our office called your manager on May 18, 2023 to check on the status of payment. As per your manager, he said you did not receive the invoice and one was emailed to him the same day. We waited a week with no payment and left messages on the manager and the owner’s voicemail call us. We did not hear back from either of you after several more calls that were ignored. We contacted our collections team to help us collect payment due to us. J.C. Rego Inc.

Hello June Choi,Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the delay on a response to your review two months ago. We saw your review a few days ago. No one from our company called you or anyone at your restaurant and threatened you, saying that no refrigeration companies would not do service for you, nor did anyone say we would take your refrigerator away. You mention we have a lot of 1 star reviews. We had two one stay reviews with the three you and your family added we now have five, lowering our 4.2 star rating to 3.2 stars and you all liked one another’s reviews. The unit worked with proper temperatures for two months before you emailed us to come back. When we came out, we found a leak on the liquid line and brazed it (sealed it). The first time we came out, our technician had to braze in charging valves as there was none there to check the Freon levels and charge the unit. Before he did any repairs, it was approved by your manager and Han Choi the owner. Out of courtesy, we waived our service call fee for the second call, even though you called two months after the first call. Everything was approved to go forward with the work by your manager and/or the owner, we went back one week later to make sure the temperatures and pressures were holding, it held. We could not collect payment, the manager and/or the owner were not there for us to collect payment. We ended up mailing them an invoice. At first the manager said that the invoice was not received, that was rectified by emailing the invoice. The following week we called and he said the invoice was received and was given to the owner for payment. We waited another week with no payment. We tried calling the manager and the owner several more times and left messages for them to call us back. No one called us back. Which left us no choice but to contact our collections agency to help us with collecting payment for work we did and the time we put into the job. You also claim our prices were high, the manager and the owner were well aware of our price. Also the price of Freon is extremely expensive now and in fact, our prices are one of the lower prices for Freon in the area. Your unit takes a special propane type called R290 it is also very flammable and if not used right when charging can ignite. Freon is not warrantied, our brazing is if the leak is in the same spot. Hello Choi Han,Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the delay on a response to your review two months ago. We just saw this today on our google page.When your manager first called for service on February 8, 2023, He was well aware of our prices and agreed to them. Your Avantco glass two door reach-in cooler we found that you had no charging valves and would have to braze new ones in order to check the Freon levels. The manager approved the work and then our service technician brazed two new saddle valves. After he completed the brazing, he checked the Freon levels and found the unit low on Freon, he looked for leaks, evacuated system and charged up the system with R290 Propane Freon. This time of Freon is Propane and highly flammable. We apologize for any misunderstanding about a one year warranty on repairs. One year warranty is limited to certain parts that come from the manufacturer and we warranty our technicians brazing for one year if the leak is in the same spot that he already brazed. We brazed charging valves in order for our technician to check the Freon levels, your unit had no charging valves, we found the unit was low on Freon and charged the unit. Freon is not warrantied and it is not guaranteed we can find all leaks. Two months later, on Saturday April 8, 2023 we received an Email from your manager. He said the unit was turning off and on for a couple of weeks and could we come and take a look. We are closed on the weekends and did not see the Email until Monday morning, April 10, 2023. We were able to get over to your restaurant on April 12, 2023. This time our technician found a leak on the liquid line and sealed the leak by brazing it, charged the unit with R290 Freon. He told your manager that he would come back in about a week to make sure the system was holding temperature and collect payment. On April 14, 2023, we received an Email from the manager asking us if there would be any fees. We emailed him back telling him yes, since this time it was a leak on the liquid line and not the new charging valves that we had to put in the first time. We called the manager on April 20, 2023 to let him know we would be there to make sure the unit was holding temperature and collect payment. He said okay. Our technician arrived at your restaurant and he inspected the unit for proper cooling and found it was holding temperature and everything looked good. The manager was not there at the restaurant, nor was the owner to collect payment upon competition of the job. We mailed the invoice to the restaurant one week after we competed the job. When we did not receive payment, our office called your manager on May 18, 2023 to check on the status of payment. As per your manager, he said you did not receive the invoice and one was emailed to him the same day. We waited a week with no payment and left messages on your voicemail and the manager’s voicemail to calls us. We did not hear back from either of you after several more calls that were ignored.
