I have had the worst experience ever with my loan officer Pascual Gomez from Guild Mortgage Co...he was ok and very helpful in the beginning but then turned around and started being rude...I called him back in April of this yr for some information and he said he would get back with me and he never did...I contacted my friend who referred him to me and let her know that I haven't heard from him since then and she gave him a call....from there it went bad he was condescending, rude, and sarcastic....he told me that he wouldn't help me with my process anymore because I didn't appreciate him and that I need to do it on my own from here on out...I will  never refer him nor the company to any of my friends or family if this is how loan officers and a company treat their customer

Working with this lender has been the worst experience of my life.  I have bought and sold two dozen homes, and this is a horror story.  Escrow is now TWO MONTHS past the original closing date.  Guild Mortgage underwriters have asked for multiple delays, have requested endless documents, and now that they have delayed the sale for so long they are requesting another appraisal.  My 45 day escrow is approaching 100 days.  This has caused me to lose the new home I was trying to buy.  DO NOT USE THIS LENDER IF YOU WANT A FAST CLOSE OR AN EASY PROCESS!

Really nice people, however, the process took too long to get anywhere. They kept asking me to submit forms after forms and wouldn't get back to us for weeks! By the time we bugged them again to get back to us on the progress, the forms they received from me were no longer up to date and needed me to submit yet again a bunch of forms. They kept running my credit and lowered my credit so much !!!! I thought it didn't matter how many times they ran my credit if they needed to. according to them it wouldn't affect it, wrong!! So done with this company.

They did a great job with overcoming certain lender hiccups and on time to make sure all docs submitted properly. Cynthia Leal was very helpful and her team was on point ready to assist. We are very happy with the streamline finance, lowering our current payment, and no mortgage payments for 2 months was a big relief, while maintaining our excellent credit.
