Refused to redeem the coupon that they sold on Groupon, not an honest dentist.

Terrible customer service. Took day off work to use groupon for teeth cleaning and they wouldnt accept it because it wasnt printed out. Under instructions in Groupon it clearly states to show voucher on mobile app and they still would not accept and said this has been a problem before and they didnt even know how to tell me to print it out when that isnt even an option on the mobile app. Total waste of time and money.

Great Dr. Run too this Dr. I've been going to this office for 10+ yrs.the only issues that I've experienced is the insurance filed a claim wrong. It was corrected and everything was fine.I tried going to the place on Torrance bl & they claimed that I had a lot of issues with my teeth and wanted to charge me thousands of dollars(run from them). Dr. Marais said "that my teeth were perfectly fine & just needed to be cleaned". The office is not that fancy looking but,it is clean.I don't mind holding the suction cup if necessary.I mainly have cleaning & preventative maintenance for my visits.I've had different insurance over the 10 yrs. My wife enjoys the Dr. as well.

I'm not sure how Dr. Marais got a bad review because my whole family have been his patients for about 3 years and we've never had a bad experience. He and his staff are great with my children and take great care of all of us. The prices are fair and they're always upfront about costs. There is only 1 hygienist at the moment but that doesn't seem to slow them down any. I'm a chicken when it comes to mouth pain and he made absolutely positive I was 100% numb before giving me even a tiny filling. 2 thumbs up from this busy mom/wife!
