Niti Vaid, DO, FACP

Dr. Niti Vaid is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She cares deeply about her patients and it shows. She is extremely thorough and always makes herself available. Recommended as highly as possible.

When I called to make an appointment I told her front office person that I was looking to go in a more natural medicine direction and I asked if Dr. Niti did cranial sacral work. The front office person told me that Dr. Niti didn't do cranial sacral, but did manipulations and she was a "natural" doctor. The first available appointment was in 3 1/2 months. I told the girl I was getting off of psych meds and needed help. Nothing was available sooner. Finally got into my appointment and Dr. Niti tells me she does not practice "natural" medicine and doesn't do cranial sacral work but does do other manipulations, but won't on me. Huh?!? After a thorough interview and listening to lungs and heart, she was done and told me to see either a new psychiatrist or talk to my rheumatologist and/or ob/gyn for medications. She did recommend a CBT therapist, too. So, in my book, she's charging my insurance for a physical that she really didn't do and pretending to be my primary care doctor, which she won't be, because I have enough allopathic doctors already. They really need to get their stories straight on what exactly she does, because I felt disappointed and discouraged after my initial consult. I can get plenty of recommendations from my other doctors for more MDs. I wanted NATURAL. Don't let your front desk person sell patients on something you don't offer.

She diagnosed my mother's dementia and diabetes in the first visit which were missed by her decade long primary care physician who joined MDVIP (Best thing he did was price himself out of her affordability range) She is my and my son's primary care physician - and has performed eminently well (even according to specialists who usually are contemptuous of primary care physicians) for us.

Dr. Niti continues to be amazing. I've had some medical issues crop up recently. Never have I experienced a doctor who is so generally concerned with my well-being. Dr. Niti spent considerable time with me today, thoroughly discussing everything and providing a variety of options for me. I've been a little down recently in light of things, but my visit today was very uplifting and gives me a clear plan of action. Its nice feeling this kind of support, and it couldn't come at a better time. I know there are a couple unfavorable reviews here, and I can't make any guesses about them. I just know that Dr. Niti is the best doctor I've ever had. And I can't recommend her enough.

My wife and I have bounced around from several different primary care physicians in the SFV and Canejo Valley over the last decade. We were referred to Dr Niti over 2 years ago and decided to give her a try. Some doctors are hard to get in to, others are not thorough, and others have no concept of bedside manner. For these reasons, it can be difficult to find someone you can trust and rely on. I'm generally not a fan of doctors, aka surgery salesmen, aka licensed drug retailers. Certain experiences have made me quite skeptical of many of the "professionals" currently practicing. I have to say that over the past couple of years, Dr. Niti has taken such good care of my wife that I too have become a patient. My wife has pre-existing conditions, and requires frequent visits - some of which are spur of the moment. Dr. Niti always makes the time. Earlier this year, Dr. Niti caught my wife's early symptoms of appendicitis. Thanks to her, my wife was brought to the hospital and treated before her appendix burst. My wife is my soulmate and best friend. Nothing in life means more to me than her health and happiness. Knowing she is so well cared for allows me to sleep more soundly. Dr. Niti is a true professional. Her approach is thorough and she always makes time for you if something comes up. She listens, and is easy to communicate with . This is why I give her 5 stars. Had I known of her years ago, my general impression of doctors would probably be more favorable. Her staff is also friendly and professional... A nice change from our prior physician.
