I am reposting my earlier review drafted in 2023 because my level of satisfaction and recent favorable experiences with the care provided by Dr. Wilkes and his SHG support staff remain the same.. I have been a patient of Donnelly Wilkes MD and Summit Health Group since my former long-time primary care physician retired in 2012. At that time, Dr. Wilkes was beginning a new practice near my home neighborhood so I checked out his medical background. I reached out to become a patient based on Dr. Wilkes' medical training and based on his experience providing frontline medical treatment to save service members injured during combat in hostile areas. I firmly believe I have received the best healthcare possible based on my 75 years of good health experience. My primary care appointments, usually routine 3-4 times yearly, almost always begin on time with professional, efficient and friendly preliminary Q&A screenings by Dr. Wilkes' SHG staff, and my in-office visits with Dr. Wilkes are likewise friendly, efficient, unrushed, thorough and informative.

I needed a new PCP since moving out here, and saw some recommendations for Summit. I see Kerrie Lauchner and I am so impressed. Having worked in the medical field, having and working with various doctors, I can 100% say she is amazing. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, validate them, give her opinions, then ask what YOU want to do. She's non-judgmental and so sweet. I love her. The front desk is ALWAYS very sweet as well! They even remembered my name after not seeing me for a few weeks.

Amazing staff and physicians. Everyone is so professional and kind. They value patient care amd I truly appreciate all that they do.
