If youre thinking about enrolling your child in springs charter schools, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Their schools, in particular The Riverside Student Center, weaponized cps. Ive had a cps worker contact me because the school reported that my daughter had fallen asleep in class. You cant make this stuff up. Rather than contacting me the parent, in their minds a child falling asleep in class was grounds to call cps. The report was so ridiculous that I was advised to take legal action, as I will. Furthermore, the teachers at the riverside student center is poor. They use the home study days as a cop out to not teach, and to put the majority of the work on the parents. Please be advised.

I love this school! We had done the home school option when COVID shut the schools down, and then we moved to the  Venture program. Omg, what a blessing. Teachers are super understanding and realize kids can't sit for hours on end listening to lectures. There are so many programs the kids do to help them learn (no cost to you) from iReady to Moby math. Great, great program for the child who does better outside of the school environment. My son loves his school, but not as much as his mom!

Left a pretty dishonest review of this school like 5 years ago, and Ive since graduated high school in a different campus and I feel like I need to readjust my review of this place lol I went here in the 7th grade and had to leave for another school the next year because it was closer and because I was doing terribly in it. I have struggled with Autism and ADHD for the entirety of my academic career, and that school had no support for kids who struggle with the stubbornness and disorganization that comes with that. I failed every class I had in that year, and I was suspended 4 times. Once I moved to another school, I got the academic support I needed and made honor roll almost every year of high school. While the kids and environment might be better than those in a public school, if you have a child with a learning or hyperactivity disability of any kind, this school is not for them. They most likely do not have the support systems in place necessary to help your child succeed.
