This place is fantastic! The staff takes such great care of my grandmother and ensures her comfort is priority. Everyone is kind, and thoughtful to the patients and treats them like family. Thank you to Frank, Lilly, Ting, and all the staff for everything you do in caring for my beloved grandmother.

What can you ask from a rehab center? Dignity, cleanliness, professionalism, compassion, just to name a few attributes. This facility is truly everything a patient and loved ones can ask for while in recovery. Our mom struggled after her release from the hospital and we selected Tarzana Health & Rehab Center to help her get back on her feet. Antonio (Director of Social Services), Stacie (His Associate) and Laura (Head of the Nursing Department) are just a few people to highlight for all of their hard work. We are so happy that we listened to their expert advise to keep our mom at the facility for additional days to have as many physical therapy sessions as possible. If she would have gone home prematurely, she would be in recovery for a much longer period. The physical therapy experts and the equipment at the facility are top notch. We saw our mom's improvement with every day and today she is going home on her own two feet. She was always in a clean bed, washed and dressed and she even enjoyed the meals. Every employee at the center has been amazing to our mom and to all of her visitors. We are forever grateful to all of them.

My father was placed at Tarzana Rehab after being in the hospital with Covid. My family and I feel so fortunate that Dad was sent to Tarzana Rehab. Dad is no longer able to live on his own and remains at Tarzana Rehab more than 2 months after being discharged from the hospital. The staff has been amazing! Antonio, the social worker, has helped us navigate the intricate world of paperwork and has answered our endless questions while we researched what the best living situation would be for my father. He is very busy with many patients living onsite but he always has a welcoming smile when we talk with him. Tatiana, in the business office, has been invaluable! She has gone above and beyond to help us work out things with Medi-cal. The CNAs that provide direct care to Dad are caring, respectful, and friendly. Dad is happy at Tarzana rehab. The facility is clean and we notice that Dad is clean shaven, his clothes are clean and his bed looks freshly made each time we visit. My Dad is a picky eater and the kitchen prepares food for him that he will eat. What a blessing! We have 3 family members in the area who visit , unscheduled throughout the week. We have all seen first hand the caring staff at Tarzana Rehab.

Many people who have seen how this facility has treated me and other patients here will have more to say. As will I. I'm writing under a different name for obvious reasons. But please read this article before sending anybody you love or even your worst enemy to Tarzana Health and Rehabilitation Center. Given my appreciation of the efforts of many of the staff, I gave this facility a 3.0 grade a month ago. The reality is I have to take it back. Unfortunately, the CA State government has FOUND that this facility BATTERED me and took away my most basic rights as a patient through ILLEGAL DRUGGING on multiple occasions. Now the Doctor supposedly involved in this ACTIVITY is saying Tarzana Health and Rehab is LYING about his involvement. And my advocates and I can't get answers from the facility. Meanwhile patients here are scared because another member of the administration was supposedly arrested at the facility for other crimes against us this week. Meanwhile the fear of retaliation against anybody who speaks up for their rights is omnipresent. ( RESEARCH the State's citations of this place - they are public & can be found on the Internet.). I'm praying that the good people fix me in time before even worse happens.

Do not take your loved ones here. Most of staff do not speak English and if they do they pretend they dont speak English. Theres a lot of favoritism between the blacks and the non-black residence. . I bought a lot of clothes for my dad tag and label them with his name and room number and they keep coming up missing so now he dont have any pants or bottoms to wear just shirts , one of the nurses gave him another Resident pants, so he doesnt have to walk around in a hospital gown with his Private area sticking out and he likes to be on the patio sometimes. I complain about it, but nothing taking care of. They do not care about the clients. The place is hardly clean. If you want to take your family to the ghetto, take it there Id rather take my father to the ghetto, because maybe he will probably receive better treatment or know what to expect, this is in tarzana, and they are receiving a lot of money. from his medical insurance, but not given them the proper services. Theres no doctor to come in and see whats going on my dad. My dad is shaking. They dont care. My dad is having memory loss they dont care. If I can give this facility a no star, I would definitely do so they dont deserve a one star. I am adding to my review my dads Clothes been stolen from the laundry people clean the lady non-speaking Spanx for month now he does not have any clothes they bring him shirts from other residents. He cant go outside because he has no bottoms. They responsible replaced his clothes for the theft. This been going on two three weeks, I walked in today and he Laying in his own pee from morning til even. The room smells like pee. They do not care , This is elderly Neglect. Im trying to reach out to someone right now How I can file a report And have him move to another facility. And do the Legal After hes moved.
