I just had a car problem on Easter Sunday. The driver at Fortes Bros who just gave us a ride was very professional and made a stressful situation easy to deal with. The driver even offered to give us a short ride from the service shop to our house. We decided to walk but we appreciated the offer. Great employee and customer service!! Thank you!

I had a battery problem with my 2006 Buick Lucerne. I called AAA and they sent Aidan from Fortes Bros. Towing. Aidan was super professional, polite and customer service oriented. He provided the assistance I needed in getting my car back home.He also gave me suggestions as to how to get my Lucerne serviced and back on the road. Aiden is an asset to Fortes Bros. Towing. Please give him my thanks. I will always recommend Fortes Bros. for any towing or roadside assistance because of Aidan.

I had a dead car battery so I called AAA and they sent a battery service tech from Fortes Bros. He arrived and tried jumpstarting my car but was unable to get it started even after a lot of effort on his part. Because of this he thought it was a starter issue so he arranged for a tow truck and I called a dealership to make an appointment. He recommended we don't replace the battery as a damaged starter can damage the new battery. When the tow truck driver got here he mentioned that the battery service is not reliable and wanted to jumpstart it himself first before towing. His portable jumpstart worked on the first try. I called Fortes to arrange a battery replacement (since the tow truck driver doesn't carry batteries) and was told I'd be placed at the back of a long queue even though the original technician would have replaced the battery had he had operational equipment (the portable jumpstart). I asked for my case to be escalated and was told that's not possible. To be fair they mentioned there was a car pile up and they were supporting law enforcement with it but I just needed battery service which doesn't use a tow truck. I was also told just because I "feel like something was done wrong" they can't escalate things. I did not "feel" that way, the second AAA technician from a different company himself said this is a common issue with these guys and the car was running perfectly after his jump start! I gave up on AAA and these guys and went to O'Reilly's and got a new battery installed in under 10 minutes. This is a terrible company with unsympathetic customer service and they clearly do not supply their technicians with even passable equipment. The tech himself was very nice though which is the only positive of the experience for me.
