Switches take over 10 minutes to boot. Then the configuration changes in the stack and the Primary switch is different.....asked to reboot the same switch 8 times....yes 80 minutes of waiting and that was just one rack. Took 3 days to install 30 switches...could have done it much faster on another product....side note: got Genius on New York Times Spelling Bee 3 days in a row... Anyway, I think if we had an outage that 10 minutes is way too long for anything to boot...Windows boots faster with a hard drive...lol. They are extremely loud....would not be good in a conference room or classroom IDF. Need to be in a closet. The APs are very quick to boot in contrast....the engineers can see the APs several minutes before they can see the switches. The APs have a semi smooth finish that pick up the tiniest finger print and it are difficult to clean. Make them smoother please, the dirt gets stuck in the pores.....also causes non aggressive labels to not stick....peeling off in libraries....not a harsh environment at all. No humidity bc of the books. Support goes all out to help including getting design team engineers on the phone. Think it is a finicky product that requires a lot of setup. If you are not a network engineer or do not have one as a pet, this is not for you.
