Original: Great service and great transparency. I got a transmission replaced there and when I didn't bring the right materials, I was informed and the correct ones were purchased. The cost was just about what I expected for a transmission replacement and I have no complaints. Additional comments: I have had a transmission replacement, upper strut bearing replacements, and timing chain and water pump replacement. All done with reasonable cost, reasonable amount of time, and great transparency. I highly suggest this mechanic to all of my friends in the area if they need car work done because the work always gets done right. Hey there! I wanted to share my recent experience with you. I had a frustrating time at the chevy dealership, where my car was kept for two and a half days without any updates. They claimed that their computers couldn't communicate with my vehicle and didn't offer any solutions. When I went to pick up my car, the mechanic was unavailable to speak to. Feeling lost, I decided to do a Google search and found Hernandez Automotive, which had amazing reviews. I dropped by on Saturday morning, shared my situation with Mr. Hernandez, and he quickly checked for a bad fuse. Within 15 minutes, he had identified and replaced the bad fuse, and showed me my car was communicating perfectly with the OBD machine. I was so relieved! Mr. Hernandez could have easily come up with a more complicated problem, but he showed his expertise by starting with the simplest solution. From now on, I'll be taking all my vehicle needs to his shop.
