I was refer by my boss to go see Robert regarding my left foot. His brother is the one who assit me first time visit n Robert second. They both are good, after visit them a couple time n drink the herbs, I felt much better! The pain is still coming back but is slowy going away. I lived in Daly City, now check this out Yelper, if I willing to go this far to Sunnyvale n Fremont, u know what is that mean! But u have to come more than one in order to heal ur sickness! Thx Robert n Tau, I'll pass on ur place to anyone who want to try eastern healer :)

I developed gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy and I had to control my glucose level by injecting very high amount of insulin. Two and half years later, I found myself pregnant again and my blood sugar was already very high at early stage of pregnancy which was very risky. My friend referred me to see Dr. Robert Xie and Dr. Xie let me start taking Chinese herbs and doing acupuncture. After a few treatments, I didn't need insulin any more and my glucose level was back to normal. More amazingly, Dr. Xie told me I was going to have a girl at the six week of pregnancy by pulse diagnosis. Now I have a healthy and beautiful baby girl. Thank you for your amazing work, Dr. Xie! Also, my interaction with Dr. Xie during these treatments get me to know him is a kind, reliable and trustworthy person of high integrity, let alone his superb clinical skills. I was suffering from a sinus infection for two years. Doctors gave me six different strains of antibiotics, but none of them helped. They only hurt my stomach and caused me to lose weight and get weaker. Then they told me I needed surgery, but the earliest available date wouldn't be for five months. I was convinced that these doctors would kill me before the surgery date and that I needed a different approach to my problems.That's when I did a web search and found the Robert and Tao clinic. They didn't think I needed surgery and told me that my problem stemmed from poor digestion preventing my body from healing the infection. I required several months of treatment because I was in such bad shape when I started going there. Long story short, my stomach doesn't hurt at all now and my sinus infection is completely cleared up. When the hospital called to schedule surgery for me I told them I didn't need it anymore.I was originally seeing Dr. Robert but when he went on vacation I discovered that Dr. Tao had a lighter touch and the needles didn't hurt as much. He always puts a heat lamp on my feet when I'm on the table, which is really nice because I'm so thin I get cold easily. Now that my two major issues have cleared up Dr. Tao is working on my heart palpitations which are much less frequent now. I also have seasonal allergies and he has some herbal nose drops that work really well on my congestion.Dr. Tao doesn't talk much but he has an air of quiet confidence that I find reassuring. He knows what he's doing and the overall quality of my life is much better than before. And the clinic is right across the street from Target, which makes for really convenient shopping.

I had an appointment with Dr Robert and it was really disappointing. Everybody heard of those healers in China that diagnose completely by pulse and even tell you the symptoms. In my case it looked more like gypsy palm reading, where they tell you something vague hence credible. But he didn't tell any of my major complains I didn't mention. I don't mind if the diagnosis is made by symptoms, but it didn't come to it. The whole diagnosis part was a real mess. Luckily I already had a reliable diagnosis from a different TCM doctor. At least, the doctor was honest with me and I wasn't charged for the diagnosis. At the same time, the receptionist owed me change of $10 and I asked to send me a check. I never received it!The acupuncture session was very short and minimalistic, I didn't even relax. There was no heat lamp. It was compensated by the pain of deeply inserted needles. The herbal formula was also quite minimalistic and the herbs expensive. The treatment was not helpful at the first approach, but I decided not to continue given the overall bad impression. The place made me quite uncomfortable not being Chinese. It's when your little requirements, like to write the formula in PinYin, get bounced. I had to spend time with a dictionary at home to translate the formula.
