I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I had my car insured with Geico and was looking for rideshare insurance so after doing research decided to go with Farmers insurance. Biggest mistake I've made in a while. From the very first interaction I made it clear that I am ONLY switching car insurance because I want rideshare insurance. In every single email interaction I again made it crystal clear that I am interested in rideshare insurance. And even asked this place in my last email to them to confirm that I am covered for rideshare insurance. I was given a quote for $270+ per month and led to believe that this was the rideshare insurance I requested. After corresponding with this place for a week repeatedly hammering the rideshare point I finally signed the contract and again asked for CONFIRMATION that I am now insured for ridesharing. For 2 weeks I drive Uber and Lyft believing that I am covered only to receive an email reminder of an upcoming payment for... Almost DOUBLE the agreed upon amount in my contract. So I email them back saying it must be a mistake and that the amount stated in the email doesnt match any of my records. I receive a call back from Ms Kristina Cardone later that afternoon giggling as if this is a massive joke (as all phonecalls are recorded, I would hope that the manager goes and checks the audio to confirm this) saying that it is clear that I had no idea that the contract I signed did in fact NOT include ridesharing and that the woman who signed me up for this contract made a mistake and that I would have to wait for a new quote. I receive a new quote, $400+ per month. Needless to say I am NOT happy with this at all. After a week of constant back and forth emails and switching my car insurance from Geico and constantly mentioning my desire for Rideshare coverage, somehow they misinterpreted that as me wanting just regular vehicle insurance with no rideshare coverage. I was driving Uber and Lyft for 2 WEEKS under the impression that I was covered. 2 WEEKS. And I can with 100% confidence say that if I had gotten into an accident during those 2 weeks I would have been held 100% responsible and been in some SERIOUS trouble because of this "business's" complete incompetence. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible. And if you are insured by these people, go and double check because you just might get screwed over when the day comes that you need your car insurance. I have made a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. This is completely irresponsible and putting people's livelihoods at risk
