However, it's important to clarify that the data itself was found to be either completely corrupted or encrypted. In the encryption situation, our team was informed that the necessary password for decryption wasn't available, and you didn't recall enabling encryption on your device. Such scenarios present significant challenges that, unfortunately, fall beyond the scope of our recovery abilities despite our best efforts.Concerning your backup drive, we have a strict protocol that requires any backup drive provided for data transfer to be empty. This is mentioned on our website and in our terms/conditions that all customers must agree to before we start their recovery. We do this to ensure the safety and integrity of new, recovered data. It's standard practice for us to confirm with our customers before formatting any drive containing data. Since 100% of the device's sectors were recovered, this was interpreted as a successful data recovery, necessitating the need to move the data to your provided backup drive after formatting. We only realized your SSD was encrypted or completely corrupted after the formatting process. We understand this may have caused unexpected distress, so we sincerely apologize.
