The Union Hotel, La Porte, California

This is a venue hotel. You have to rent the entire place. It has a large bar and full kitchen with all the amenities. It is a lot of fun for your large group to enjoy the mountains.

We stayed in one of the China Alley cabins. It was fantastic. Everything we needed. This is the 2nd year that we stayed there. They are very clean and comfy. Would recommend it to anyone! Angela was amazing! Rooms: Very nice and comfy. Very clean and maintained! Nearby activities: Rileys Bar and Cafe was great. Wish there was a breakfast place. The snow park down the road was fun. Safety: Very safe! Walkability: Downtown a short walk away! Food & drinks: Food was great at Rileys. A breakfast place is needed Noteworthy details: Great getaway for a day or a week!

My husband & I were struggling to find a location for our wedding when the Union Hotel was brought to our attention and let me tell you... it exceeded every expectation. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, the hotel provided enough space for how large our wedding was and the environment made it feel as if we were having a destination wedding without being too far from home. I am very proud to have been given the opportunity to get married here.

We hosted my daughters wedding at the Union Hotel and everything was very magical. We had a long weekend of laughing, celebrating, catching up with family and a wedding that everyone still talks about. Our photographer was able to capture some amazing photos that will be cherished for years to come. We definitely recommend this location to all our friends who are looking for venues or family reunions. Thank you to all those at the Union Hotel, this place is very special!
