        Always been a big fan of BMW. I own several right now. My 2011 335i has developed a "Long Cranking" problem on engine start. It turns out the high pressure fuel pump is failing, thus leading to difficult starts. Upon researching the problem I found out this was a known issue in 2008, 2009, 2010 which lead them to extend the warranty on that part to 10 years and 120,000 miles. Surely they would include my car, but they do not. I am not the only one who has had this experience. The dealer my my area basically said " sorry charlie, your VIN isn't included". Clearly some of the "bad batch" fuel pumps were still being installed in the 2011 models. BMW should step up and fix this know problem.
