        Friendly, welcoming congregation. The pastor does not 'preach'. Which is my preference. No made-up rituals. No begging for money. Just lessons from the Bible and fellowship. I grew up in church with a wonderful 'preacher', and I still love a good down-home sermon. But I have gained more knowledge as I continue to develop my relationship with God from those who teach. Pastor is a wonderful teacher of the Bible. He seems a humble man and is a fascinating storyteller. The church supports the community and offers various life enhancing ministries/groups to become a part of. I've been visiting for months now, and I am just about ready to become a member. It's been 3 months since I wrote the above. I am so happy to report that I am now a member! I can hardly wait to see which ministry I am drawn to.
