I was having pain in my back that just wouldn't go away even after trips to the chiropractor- my body was just not releasing whatever it was that kept me in pain.  I made an appointment  with Karen and she took away my pain with counterstrain!!  With saying that- trying to explain what it is that she does doesn't quite make sense to me I just know it works!

Karen is a hidden gem!! After years of chronic neck pain and trying damn near everything possible a friend of mine suggested I make an appointment. Honestly, I was skeptical, maybe even a little scinical, as nothing I had tried helped me. When Karen told me about the practice and what she would be doing I wanted to laugh. Like, "okay, lady... let's see this...". After only TWO sessions I was completely cured of all neck pain!!! I've been living life pain free since.I do plan on seeing her once a year for maintenance as this therapy is incredible. I highly recommend you make an appointment.

Karen is an exceptional therapist, who helped me overcome my stubborn hip pain, which was limiting me from walking, exercising, driving, and much more. I was devastated and frustrated, because nothing was helping. My doctor recommended MRI, cortisone shot, and surgery because I had started limping. When I met Karen, I was nervous but I am so glad that she used her exceptional hands on skills to heal me and resolve my pain. After two sessions, I was back to normal. She helped me get my life back and save my self from surgery! She is the best and highly recommend to anyone that wants to stay active & live their life to the fullest!

I first experienced Karen Messersmith's expertise when I had sun poisoning and my legs were swollen and painful. She was able to relieve the swelling in my legs in one 90-minute session.
Today, she worked her magic again and relieved pain MD's, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Massage could not help. I was completely pain free when she finished our session.
I didn't know about "Strain-Counter Strain" training but she certainly does.
Torn about writing this review because she's quite busy. Selfishly want to see her monthly for maintenance.
